Emily Langenberg is a Hinterland naturalist, storyteller, Snorse-handler, and explorer.
Her interest in Folklore developed from a childhood spent in the woods, spinning tales with her brother and cousins.
She could also be found galloping around the forests of her hometown of Grand Ledge, Michigan, astride one of her many imaginary steeds. That is, incidentally, something that inspired her love for running and a penchant for horses in her work.
